Canoeing on the Churchill

This summer I travelled to Northern Saskatchewan to counsel a canoe trip on the Churchill River System with 8 teenagers and a tremendous guide. My eyes were quickly opened to the beauty of one of Canada’s best-kept secrets. Bald eagles, warm blue waters, indigenous rock paintings, crashing rapids, and trees for days were just some of the things that grabbed our attention as we paddled a 5-day loop from the village of Missinipe. It was an adventure of a lifetime and I'm so thankful for the people I shared it with. Here’s a glimpse of what Northern Saskatchewan has to offer.
